Visual artist Sandro Akel and photographer André Passos have teamed up in an aesthetic experiment that places time—and its effects—as the primary creative agent. The work emerges from the encounter between two perspectives that understand wear and tear not as an end, but as raw material. All the works are the fruit of a collaborative process, built by two hands: André's photography becomes the starting point for Sandro's interventions, creating a territory of dialogue in which image and material mutually contaminate each other.
flows and fragments
Time marks. It corrodes, overlaps, dissolves, reveals.
In their hands, these fragments become tactile abstractions, visual structures that reveal layers of an invisible everyday life. Time, once again, is present in everything - whether in the controlled deterioration of the image, the urban overlay of the posters, or the very partnership between the artists, made of listening, adaptation, and reinvention. Nothing here is static. Everything carries the trace of what was and the possibility of what can still be.
